vejo review

As a mom you want your childs diet to be spectacular and eat everything you offer them. Lets face it that is far from what they actually eat. My daughter diet sometimes consists of chicken nuggets and fries. Everyone knows how hard it could be to get your child to eat their fruit and veggies.
Vejo is an amazing company that makes a portable blender for their blends which are full of fruits and veggies. They taste great and my daughter loves them. You can add water or milk and then add your blend they come in a biodegradable container which you just pop open and stick into your blender. It takes ten seconds for the blender to do its magic and blend up your favorite blends.
You know the best part if that it is portable which means you can take it with you. Vejo has helped both my kids get in some much needed fruits and veggies, you can also make any blend into a popsicle I mean how cool is that and what kid doesn’t like popsicles. Every morning she goes straight to the freezer and asks for one. I’ve also made tiny frozen teddy bears to put into a mash teether for my five month old, she loves then.
I’ve tried many different things to get these blends into my kids from popsicles made with just the blends and then I’ve added yogurt and even some heavy cream to some blends since my daughter likes them better. I’ve even made small gummies for my oldest because she is obsessed with gummies. She wanted to eat them all! I’m still brain storming on other ideas since its so fun to make different things with just one blend.
These blends aren’t just for kids I drink them as well my favorite would have to be the cold brew since I’m obsessed with coffee. They also have keto friendly options since I am currently doing the ketogenic diet. Ive tried three of their keto options and they taste amazing! For those that work out there is also pre and post workout blends. The blends are thick like a smoothie. Vejo is so versatile with yourself and kids and I’m sure the whole family is going to love it!

If you would like to order your self your very own Vejo blender use code FLORES8PACK to get a free pack of blends with your purchase of a blender kit.

How we found out Myah would most likely have Down Syndrome

When we were 12 weeks pregnant we had an ultrasound done. The doctor came in and also gave me an ultrasound which i found weird because doctors don't normally do ultrasounds. Once he was finished he said that baby showed some markers of having Down Syndrome and that i should get tested for it. We had already decided prior to this day that we did not want any testing done we would love our baby regardless. Well we were scared so we agreed to have a blood test done. I got a phone call about a week later from a nurse who worked at the hospital. She informed me that my blood test came back that my baby had a 100% chance of having Down Syndrome. I was so confused, how could just a simple blood test tell you this. The nurse had asked me four times, yes four times if i wanted to terminate my pregnancy. Of course i said no. She asked me if i wanted to get an amniocentesis done i said no but that we would need to talk about it. We opted out on having the amniocentesis done because of the m...

It's normal

If you get the Down syndrome diagnosis it's normal to be scared and full of emotions. Because you have that "what if" in your mind, but don't be afraid you're child is able to do anything they put their mind to. It will just take them a little longer to learn but the scenic route is the best route.  Don't believe doctors when they tell you that your child will not have a great quality of life, let your child be the one to show you how great there life can be. You can't possibly know how great your unborn child's life can be until they're brought into this world. Of course your scared who wouldn't be you had a picture of the perfect healthy child in your head, your child is still perfect they are in fact extra perfect. Just because your child has down syndrome does not mean that they are down. There is nothing down about down syndrome. Myah is the light of our days she has so much love in her and her smile is heart warming, it can make a bad ...

Breastfeeding Journey

Myah was a NICU baby and that made it very hard for us to breast feed every day. I tried to get her to latch every day but with her low tone it was hard. Myah was not gaining as much weight as they would have liked her to so they put her on formula to get more calories in her. Myah was getting both my breastmilk and formula. I wasn't producing much in the beginning so they also had to give her formula when i had no milk to give.  Myah had developed jaundice so she had to be under the light as much as possible so that limited the time i has to try and get her to latch. Myah came home after a week in the hospital and we continued to try and latch at times it was hard for both her and i, so I continued to pump and give her milk out of a bottle. I developed an over supply of milk. I was on a strict schedule of pumping every two hours during the day and every three hours at night. Myah was sleeping through the night so i had to wake her up to give her a bottles since she was stil...
