We went to our weekly speech therapy appointment and we talked to our therapist about how Myah has been acting and she mentioned that it could possibly be some sensory issues. And if it continues we may need to think about putting Myah back into occupational therapy. When she first mention OT i was very hesitant, not because I don’t think she needs it but because we have had multiple evaluations and went through two therapists in the time we did have OT. Our first therapist just seemed like he did not like working with kids, like if they annoyed him, and he had no patience for them. (He ended up leaving to another place to work with adults) Our second therapist was just mean. We felt like she would hold Myah down and force her to do the things she wanted her to do. I know they want them to focus but holding her down is NOT ok. We just dont want to deal with her again and she is working the day Myah has speech therapy so we would most likey be stuck with...
