Sweetie pie organics review

Since I had successfully breastfed my first daughter when I got pregnant with our second daughter I knew I wanted to breastfeed without a doubt. Little did I know that this journey would be different than my first.  With our first daughter she was in the nicu and had latching issues, for the first two months of her life I pumped around the clock. I was up every three hours even though the night. With me being dedicated like I was I grew to have a have an over supply which was great but also very hard to control. At two months she finally latched onto the breast but because of my over supply I have a very fast let down which would cause more issues with her feeding. After having her lip and tongue clipped she was able to be fully breastfed on the breast at four months old and she went on to nurse until she was two and a half years old.  My second latched on right away and nursed like a champ. In the beginning I was up pumping as much as I could because I was afraid of getting clogs as I

vejo review

As a mom you want your childs diet to be spectacular and eat everything you offer them. Lets face it that is far from what they actually eat. My daughter diet sometimes consists of chicken nuggets and fries. Everyone knows how hard it could be to get your child to eat their fruit and veggies. Vejo is an amazing company that makes a portable blender for their blends which are full of fruits and veggies. They taste great and my daughter loves them. You can add water or milk and then add your blend they come in a biodegradable container which you just pop open and stick into your blender. It takes ten seconds for the blender to do its magic and blend up your favorite blends. You know the best part if that it is portable which means you can take it with you. Vejo has helped both my kids get in some much needed fruits and veggies, you can also make any blend into a popsicle I mean how cool is that and what kid doesn’t like popsicles. Every morning she goes straight to the freez

Shop pinkblush review

Today I’m going to be doing a review on some items I’ve recently got from the shop Pinkblush . I first found  PinkBlush  when I was pregnant with Myah , I didn't have the chance to purchase from them when I was pregnant but when I saw they also had regular woman's clothing line I jumped on it!  They were having a sale and I grabbed a couple items, and fell in love. The quality is amazing, the items are super soft and comfortable. Since I am now pregnant its time to start thinking about maternity clothing, as nothing fits me shop pink blush is definitely on my list.  I recently got some items and I would love to share them with you. These shorts are definitely my favorite item, if you know me you know how much  I love  Shorts so of course these would be my go to.   They are so comfortable, and have the perfect amount of stretch to them. The  waist is also high enough to cover your growing bump.  I got a size 31 for both pairs in their regular maternity line, they fi

More therapy?

We went to our weekly speech therapy appointment and we talked to our therapist about how Myah has been acting and she mentioned that it could possibly be some sensory issues. And if it continues we may need to think about putting Myah back into occupational therapy.   When she first mention OT i was very hesitant, not because I don’t think she needs it but because we have had multiple evaluations and went through two therapists in the time we did have OT.  Our first therapist just seemed like he did not like working with kids, like if they annoyed him, and he had no patience for them. (He ended up leaving to another place to work with adults)  Our second therapist was just mean. We felt like she would hold Myah down and force her to do the things she wanted her to do. I know they want them to focus but holding her down is NOT ok.  We just dont want to deal with her again and she is working the day Myah has speech therapy so we would most likey be stuck with her if we stayed a

Acceptance is key.

We fight for inclusion, acceptance, change, why? Because people are afraid of different, different is beautiful, amazing , wonderful and sometimes challenging. It all starts with YOU, you teaching  your child at a young age that everyone is equally beautiful. To include others that are different in activities your doing, being patient as others that are different learn to do what comes easy to you.  Everyone is different and everyone is differently able and capable of doing things that others can’t but that doesn’t mean to exclude them from the things that you’re doing. For someone who is different they feel included when you take your time to be patient as they learn. Encourage them to join in on the actives your doing. Being kind as they may not know what your doing.   Sometimes i feel like there is a picture of this perfect child that doctors make you imagine. Your child should do this at this age and this at that age and anything slightly off that age is considered “delayed”.

The year of the helmet.

We never actually noticed that Myahs head was shaped weird. We started physical therapy and her therapist noticed that it was a little flat in the back. We asked her pediatrician if it looked ok and she looked at some X-rays that she had done and said that everything looked fine. We went back to her physical therapist a couple of times and she mentioned it again and she asked us if we wanted to get a second opinion and she could refer us to a clinic to get her scanned and see if she actually needed a helmet or not. We agreed to check it out and see if she needed it or not,  we were informed that the longer she you wait the longer they will need to wear there helmet. We tried to get her in as quick as possible but the first appointment was more than a month out. We got her appointment set up and we patiently waited  for her appointment. It was the day of her appointment and i was very emotional because i felt like she did need a helmet and just didn't want her to wear a helm

Our crazy weekends

Angelica and i both work on the weekends so it gets pretty hard. Our day starts off with waking up around 7:30-8:30 am we brush our teeth and Myahs teeth and head to the living room. I turn on our projector and put on either YouTube learning videos or of course her favorite movie Moana. Myah watches tv while i make coffee and breakfast. After breakfast I usually get Myah dressed for the day. We just relax until its time for me to go into work. At 11am i try to see if Myah is interested in nursing and if she is i will nurse her. Around 11:15am i start to  get my lunch packed and get myself dressed to go into work, I work from noon until 8pm.  Before i leave for work i try to put Myah down for her first nap. We don't put Myah in daycare so I'm either with her or Angelica is, we work around each others work schedule to make it happen. Myah will wake up from her nap after about an hour to an hour and a half. Angelica will feed her lunch and clean her up and put in the living ro
